In view of today’s rapidly changing health care environment, participation in organized optometry is essential for staying abreast of current issues and for positioning you and your practice for success. The Maryland Optometric Association (MOA) is a non-profit professional association. We provide an array of high-quality services to advance the profession and its practice in Maryland. Our members receive significant discounts on all MOA continuing education courses and exclusive offers through MOA Membership Benefit Programs. MOA provides members continuous updates about the changing landscape of national and state healthcare reform. We also give members the tools they need to take advantage of new programs, initiatives, and insurance industry changes with the potential
to benefit Maryland optometrists.

AOA/MOA yearly memberships run from January 1 – December 31. New and reinstated members are eligible for proration on a monthly basis. Dues are assessed for the month in which the member joins and for all remaining months. No other method of proration is allowed. The MOA collects MOA and AOA dues. The MOA remits payment to the AOA on your behalf.
